We believe in quality and sustainability
AAR is a design and wood shop that is committed to creating beautiful, sustainable furniture. We use non-threatened tree species (or limited amounts of reclaimed wood) and finish our furniture with natural oils, resins, varnishes or paints.
We very rarely work with engineered wood products (plywood, particle board, melamine, etc), and we never use chemical finishes which are full of toxic chemicals that are detrimental to our workers and dangerous in your home.
Our furniture is durable, but if an accident happens, our furniture can easily be repaired...unlike mass-manufactured furniture that has a very limited lifespan and always ends its life in a landfill site.
